Online poker tournaments are massive on Sundays and this fact along brings out the game’s best players. Michael Addamo, Timothy Adams, and Justin Bonomo are just three of those stellar names who managed to take down a Sunday major this weekend.
Addamo Takes Down GGPoker Sunday 500 High Rollers $5,250
Michael Addamo enjoyed a super Sunday courtesy of triumphing in the Sunday 500 High Rollers $5,250, a tournament that attracted 113 of the world’s best players to the GGPoker virtual felt.
Addamo’s first bullet didn’t go to plan and he crashed out in 76th place. He re-entered and put used his new stack to full effect.
The likes of Kristen Bicknell, Matthias Eibinger, Elio Fox, Benjamin Rolle, and Anatoly Filatov busted inside the money places but before the star-studded final table.
Austria’s “Filip1” was the final table’s first casualty. Their ninth-place exit awarding a $14,833 prize.
Alex Foxen and David Yan then busted. Yan would go on to take down Sunday High Rollers Bounty King $3,150 for $49,300 later in the evening.
The exits of Michael Zhang, Aleksei Barkov, Pascal Hartmann, and David Peters left Addamo heads-up against Wiktor Malinowski. Addamo rarely loses when he’s heads-up and that was the case again here. Addamo collected $131,187 for his victory while Malinowski banked $99,898 for his runner-up finish.
Defeating Malinowski will go some way to making up for losing a massive $842,000 cash game pot last year.

Timothy Adams’ latest victory came in the High Rollers Blade Prime $2,625, an event that saw 80 players buy in.
All but two of the players who navigated their way to the final table walked away with five-figures hauls. Fedor Holz and Andrii Novak being that duo.
“LeoJose” fell in seventh and was joined on the rail first by Artur Martirosian, then by Urmo Velvelt, Rainer Kempe, and China’s Kevin Pu.
This left Adams, on his one and only bullet, heads-up against Arsneii Malinov. Malinov fell at the final hurdle and scooped $36,565, which left Adams to add the $46,885 top prize to his GGPoker account.

The UK Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) is asking football clubs to refrain from discussing and promoting gambling on their social media sites in as part of an effort to avoid triggering problem gamblers. It’s move that may seem extreme to the layman, but will likely help keep UK gambling operators a step ahead of UK gambling regulators.
Guidelines for how football clubs should handle discussions of gambling were sent out by the BGC late last week and utilize a plea from 50 former gambling addicts to make the case. They pointed out that seeing their favorite club site promoting gambling caused them “distress” and “encouraged” them to place wagers.
As an effort to avoid these triggering moments, the BGC is recommending that football clubs refrain from promoting gambling operators or bonus offers and their “organic tweets”. This is a nod to the reality that gambling offers are ubiquitous on social media and that no one is really more than a click or two away from them on the internet anyways.
BGC officials sent a letter detailing the new code of conduct to 11 football clubs, as well as to social media operators.
In a statement reported on by SBC News, Brigid Simmonds OBE, Chairman of the BGC described the importance of the new standards saying, “Our members rightly have a zero tolerance approach to gambling by under-18s, so as an industry we are understandably concerned that children may be exposed to betting adverts on social media platforms. Our new guidelines make clear the standards expected of football clubs when they post gambling promotions on social media, and I look forward to them being put into practice as soon as possible.”
The BGC guidelines are not legally binding, but members of the BGC who wish to remain in good standing are expected to abide by them.

At 23, Rublev is two years younger than Medvedev and grew up playing junior tournaments against him in Russia. For a long time Rublev, seeded No. 8, and Karen Khachanov, 24, the third member of Russia’s latest golden generation, were better than Medvedev. The rise for Medvedev came in 2018 and 2019, when he nearly beat Rafael Nadal in the 2019 United States Open final.“He reads the game really well,” Rublev said of Medvedev. “It’s amazing, the patience he has to stay so long in the rallies, to not rush, to take the time, because in the end these little details, they make him who he is.”Russia is the only country with two players in the top 10. Khachanov gives it three in the top 20. Aslan Karatsev, 27, another Russian ranked No. 114, came out of nowhere to make the quarterfinals here in his first Grand Slam tournament.Medvedev comes into the quarterfinal on perhaps the best roll of his career. He has won 18 consecutive singles matches. He won the ATP Tour finals in London in November, pulling off the nifty trick of beating the world’s top three players — Novak Djokovic, Nadal and Dominic Thiem — in a single tournament. For Russia at the ATP Cup, he beat Alexander Zverev of Germany, a 2020 U.S. Open finalist, in a tight, three-set match in the semifinal round.Medvedev spent his early childhood in Moscow and played few sports other than tennis growing up. He worshiped Russia’s last golden generation, which included Marat Safin and Yevgeny Kafelnikov, who were in their prime when he was a young child. He moved to France to train as a teenager and became fluent in English and French.Medvedev could be heard screaming at his coach, Gilles Cervara of France, in French during his third-round match against Filip Krajinovic of Serbia, as he frittered away a two-set lead before recovering to win the final set, 6-0.

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis faces a lengthy injury layoff despite a scan revealing he had not suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon, ESPN reported Monday.
ESPN said Davis was unlikely to return to action before the NBA’s All-Star break, due to take place from March 5-10.
Concern mounted for the 27-year-old’s fitness after he limped out of Sunday’s defeat to the Denver Nuggets with a recurrence of his Achilles problem.
Davis missed two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder last week with tendonosis in his right Achilles before returning to face Memphis on Friday.
A statement from the Lakers said Davis had undergone an MRI scan on Monday that revealed no sign of a ruptured right Achilles tendon.
“Davis will miss tomorrow’s game vs. Minnesota, and will be further evaluated by team doctors upon his return to Los Angeles,” the Lakers said.

The team did not give a likely timetable for his return, but ESPN suggested he faced “two to three weeks” on the sidelines.
Any long-term injury to Davis would deal a hammer blow to the Lakers’ hopes of defending their NBA crown.
Davis, who joined the Lakers in 2019, played a pivotal role in the team’s march to the franchise’s 17th NBA championship.
So far this season, Davis has averaged 22.5 points per game in 23 appearances.

Tyrant King Megaways plays on 6 reels, gets as many as 117,649 Megaways during regular spins, however then it likewise gets up to 200,704 different ways on the off chance that you get to its free spins. Besides the free spins, there will be Cascading reels, expanding multipliers, wilds and respins. Payouts can be very acceptable, going to 10,000x the stake, while RTP is OK at 96%.Betting and Prizes $0.20 is a low bet, that most players can make use of it and it’s the lowest amount that Tyrant King Megaways permits. At the other end, the highest wagers used is up to $20.Winning big is consistently a chance in slots which depend on Megaways and it is a significant motivation behind why these games turned out to be so popular. It is not easy however, since the unpredictability is also on the high side. All things considered, a bonanza of up to 10,000x the stake is onThe RTP is set at 96%.Tyrant King Megaways Slot Features Concerning the Megaways system. It depends on a fixed number of reels, 6 for this case but on a random number of images for every one (2 to 7 during regular spins). This permits up to 117,649 different ways to win during your regular spins. After a combination forms, cascading reels will trigger, eliminating winning images and adding others in. This can prompt more wins and cascades.Get at least 4 wilds to show up in one spin and the Respins feature triggers. It will give you a Hold and Win style reward with 3 respins offered, during which you need to get extra wilds on the reels. Just wilds and empty positions can show up in this mode. You gather the setting off wilds and any new ones that may appear. In the event that a reel is covered by them, it transforms into a multiplier wild. The respins reset when you get new wilds.Toward the end of the feature, you get every one of those wilds used as a component of new mixes in the base game. Every combo of up to 6 wilds will settle up to 50x the stake. There will be free spins to go after also, up to 15 rounds offered when up to 6 scattered Dinosaur Eggs show up in view. The game area increases, with one extra line of images, so now you can have 200,704 different ways to win active. Another feature will include an expanding multiplier, going up by 1x after each new cascade.Theme and Design We are going back to the period when the dinosaurs roamed and controlled this planet. The T-Rex will be the star, as a wild while Dinosaur Eggs are represent scatters. Standard images include an unlikely picture of an Adventurer, a Cavewoman, three kinds of dinosaurs and the 10 to A Royals. It is a mix of prehistoric and modern at that point, which reminds me of Jurassic Park because you can’t get such a thing elsewhere.ConclusionTyrant King Megaways looks engaging, giving us some new features to try out, along with the ones we already knew and enjoyed. Top wins of 10,000x the stake are not extraordinary in a Megaways slot but rather they look great all things being equal.
